Numerous DVD series such as Lure Magazin’s productions, are featuring the ‘cream’ of Japanese tournament fishing at length, but there are also a lot of quite useful online video resources around. Most of them are directly connected to manufacturer websites while simply showcasing and promoting their products in a sober and businesslike manner.
But there are also a handful of pages featuring innovative products as well as popular tournament anglers and tackle designers in a more entertaining and inspiring way. There are two of them that already achieved almost iconic status - not only in Japan, but also in overseas.

The more popular of both is truly Imakatsu’s “The Movie” section at Imakatsu.co.jp. Featuring loads of DVD trailers and well produced clips - perfectly peformed and commented by Katsutaka Imae - this place is always a good place to get some inspiration and to learn about special technics, rigging tips and lure characteristics.

The other video resource worth mentioning is Toshifumi Kikumoto’s BigBite diary. I just stumbled upon this subpage of Fishing-v.co.jp a few days ago and was amazed by around 75 video stories by “Mr. Tactics” (member of Evergreen’s Pro Staff). Really inspiring to watch him casting big-baits with pinpoint precision and fetching away lunkers from heay cover and strong drift with ease.

If you have any recommendations about other fishing-video websites that share the same quality and unique approach, just leave a comment with links and a brief description.
