A true classic among the countless "popping" and "plopping" top-water baits on the market
Posting about top-water lures might appear kind of misplaced at this time of the year, but why not indulging in memories of a happier time, when temperatures were around 25°C and we didn’t had to wrapp up ourselfes in heavy coats. Things can’t remain this way! So lets pack our bags and boxes to finally head off to sunnier climes and resorts (at least imaginary).
Already back in 1996, Megabass released their probably most succesfull topwater lure - the PopMax. When it comes to high tech features merged with superb detailing and a gorgeous palette (~ 20 diff. colors), this lure truly stands out of the crowd.

PopMax comes along with Megabass’ original Side-Stepping Balancer that results in a rolling dog-walk action while the patented Water Ducts “imitate the bubbly water coming out of fish gills” - to create a natural and extraordinary “bio-sound”. Thanks to 1/2 ounce weight and it’s streamlined body shape this lure is a real long-distance “weapon” that makes it easy to cover even wider range and areas.
